In 1953 Ferran Povo (*Valencia 1908, †Barcelona 1992) starts his interior and furniture design business at 5 Banys Nous, in Barcelona's Barri Gotic. He finds his own style and produces his work in lighting and furniture based on an accurate manufacturing. 

Iron handwork is the basic element for most of his creations, adding the value of craftmanship to that of the design, and this compromise is still being maintained today. 

In 1977 Gemma Povo directs the company, adding new designs and updating the old ones.

With the recent incorporation of the third generation a new consulting and cooperation service for architecture and interiorism projects is created, continuing as a family business.
